Therapy
Personalized therapy for adults and families across New Hampshire
Get focused support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and the emotional patterns that keep returning and weighing you down.

How Therapy Helps
Therapy at The Lumina Center supports adults in New Hampshire navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional patterns that keep resurfacing and affecting daily life. It gives you a steady place to understand why these reactions happen and to address them with clear, clinical guidance.
We help you build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and work through experiences that feel stuck or unresolved. As a small practice, you receive consistent care and direct communication, with a therapeutic process that stays grounded, practical, and personal.
How Therapy Works
Our therapy process is structured, steady, and easy to follow, so you always know what to expect. Each step helps you feel supported while we build a clinical understanding of what’s going on and how best to move forward.
1. Schedule a free consultation
This short conversation helps us understand what you’ve been experiencing and what you’re looking for. You can ask questions, share at your own pace, and get guidance on whether therapy is the right next step.
2. Join your intake session
Your first full session focuses on your history, current symptoms or stressors, and how these patterns show up day to day. Together, we outline therapeutic goals and identify the areas we’ll work on in treatment.
3. Continue your journey
Ongoing therapy gives you space to process experiences, understand triggers, reduce symptoms, and build more stable ways of coping. Because we’re a small practice, you receive consistent care and clear communication throughout your work with us.

Pricing & Insurance
Therapy sessions are $175 for a 50–60 minute appointment. This rate reflects the time, training, and consistent care you receive through our small-practice approach. We keep pricing simple so you always know what to expect.
We offer virtual therapy for individuals across New Hampshire, and in-person sessions in our Concord office. Services are private pay, and we provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If you have questions about cost or reimbursement, we’re happy to walk you through your options during your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our therapy services.
Who is therapy for?
Therapy is for adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or emotional reactions that keep resurfacing and making daily life harder. If these patterns are affecting your work, relationships, or overall stability, therapy can help. At The Lumina Center, therapy is available to clients across New Hampshire.
How is therapy different from coaching?
Counseling focuses on mental health and emotional healing. It helps you work through stress, trauma, anxiety, and deeper patterns that need clinical support.
Coaching is more practical and future focused. It centers on skill building, strategy, and day to day problem solving.
If you’re unsure which is right for you, we help you decide.
What happens during the consultation?
The consultation is a brief conversation to understand what you’re experiencing and what you’re hoping to change. You can ask any questions, share as much or as little as you want, and get clarity on whether therapy or coaching is the right fit for you.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions last about 50 minutes, though frequency and duration can vary based on your goals.
Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?
We offer both virtual and in-person therapy sessions for individuals living in New Hampshire. If you live outside NH, you can work with us through coaching instead.
How do I get started?
Start by scheduling a free consultation. We’ll talk briefly about what brings you in, answer your questions, and help you decide whether therapy or coaching is the best next step. If it’s a good fit, we move forward with an intake session.
